    How do you replace the EVAP canister purge valve on the 2017 Ford Edge? Posted by Customer

    Follow the same steps as for a four-cylinder engine, but also disconnect the EVAP line quick-connect fitting. On 2014 and earlier models and 3.5L V6 models, remove the purge valve mounting bolts and remove the valve. On 2015 and later 2.7L models, unclip the purge valve from the mounting bracket and remove the assembly. Installation is the reverse of removal, using a new O-ring.
