Position the front wheels straight ahead and securely raise the vehicle on jackstands. Disconnect the Sway Bar Kit from the lower control arms by removing the nuts from the links that attach the bar to the arms, discarding the fasteners for new ones during installation. Detach the Sway Bar Kit from the frame by removing the four bracket bolts, also discarding these fasteners for new ones upon installation. Remove the Sway Bar Kit assembly and inspect all rubber bushings for any cracks, tears, or damage, replacing any that are worn or deteriorated. Installation follows the reverse order of removal, ensuring that all bolts and nuts are tightened to the specified torque. Note that the sway bar-to-frame bracket bolts are self-tapping; if they cannot be tightened to the correct torque, obtain a kit with special fasteners from the dealer, and use new sway bar link nuts and bracket bolts.
