The Sway Bar Kit has to be unbolted first and to do so, the vehicle has to be lifted off the ground and properly supported with jackstands, and if the car is equipped with Automatic Ride Control the switch has to be turned off. After that, take out the nut and washer that bolts the rear Sway Bar Kit ends to the link at each end and then unscrew the retainers from the rear axle housing. Following that, you must remove the mounting brackets, retainer with rubber isolators, and Sway Bar Kit from the vehicle, then check the rubber isolators on the Sway Bar Kit and if necessary replace the rubber isolators. During installation, place the Sway Bar Kit onto the rear axle assembly such that the retainer mark referred to as UP is in an upward position then fit the Sway Bar Kit along with the retainer on the mounting brackets in the right position of the UP mark. Place the U-bolts and nuts, tightening them with fingers only, shift the Sway Bar Kit ends into proper position and fasten them with the link, a bolt, washer, nut on both ends and then tightening them to the desired torque. Last, fasten the retainer bolts and link nuts to the required torque for a firm hold and withheld security.
