For four-cylinder models, remove the intake manifold and power steering pump. Disconnect the high pressure fuel lines and electrical connectors for the fuel injectors. Clean the area around each injector and remove the fuel rail and injectors.

Remove the intake manifold.

To replace the fuel injector seals, remove and discard the upper O-rings. If using special tools, install the Teflon lower seals on the injectors. If not using special tools, work the new Teflon seal onto a socket and slide it onto the injector. Push a small amount of engine oil onto the new seals to ensure a proper fit and prevent damage during installation. Carefully insert the injectors back into their respective ports, ensuring they seat properly. Reinstall any retaining clips or brackets, and reconnect the fuel lines. Finally, check for leaks by turning the ignition on without starting the engine, allowing the fuel system to pressurize.
