    1. Remove the intake manifold gaskets and install new ones. 2. Install the intake manifolds on the injectors, then attach the fuel rail assembly to the intake manifolds, tightening the bolts by hand. 3. Install the fuel rail and intake manifolds as a single assembly. Be sure to tighten the intake manifold bolts in the correct sequence to the torque.

    For four-cylinder models, remove the intake manifold and power steering pump. Disconnect the high pressure fuel lines and electrical connectors for the fuel injectors. Clean the area around each injector and remove the fuel rail and injectors.
