Begin by discharging and recovering the condenser at a professional facility. Disconnect the negative battery cable, raise the vehicle, remove the radiator undershield, and detach refrigerant lines from the condenser. Remove radiator support bracket bolts, condenser upper mountings, and unclip the condenser from the radiator. For 2008+ models, detach the wiring harness, remove the lower radiator cross member, and disconnect the refrigerant lines. Remove condenser mounting bolts and condenser. For the evaporator, remove the instrument panel and heater unit assembly from the firewall.The compressor should also be discharged at a professional facility.
