- A:There are two Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor used: the Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor is located on the air filter housing outlet and the Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor is located on the turbocharger air outlet pipe. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. Lift the engine cover up and off of the ballstuds, then remove the cover. Disconnect the electrical connector from the Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor. Remove the sensor by turning it counter clockwise and pulling it out of the air outlet duct.
