    Position the high intensity zone so it is two inches below the horizontal line and two inches to the side of the headlight vertical line, away from oncoming traffic. Adjustment is made by turning the appropriate adjusting screw to raise or lower the beam or to move the beam left or right.

    Turn the headlamps on and check for proper operation. Note that a properly aimed headlamp normally need not be re-aimed after installation of this bulb. A burned-out bulb should not be removed from the headlamp reflector until just before a replacement bulb is to be installed. Removal of a bulb for an extended period of time may allow contaminants (dust, moisture, smoke) to enter the headlamp body and affect the performance of the headlamp. When servicing the headlamp bulb, energize the bulb only while it is contained within the headlamp body.
