    How should the Ignition Coils be cleaned and inspected on Mercury Mariner? Posted by Pedrito D.

    To start with, when you take out ignition coils, see to it that they are cleaned using a damp cloth, and then make sure they are dried out completely before proceeding. In addition, all coils must be checked for any indication of cracks, damage or carbon tracking. Therefore, the replacement process of a damaged coil becomes very necessary to the vehicle.
