Clean the caliper exterior with brake system cleaner and place it on a clean workbench. Use compressed air with caution to remove the piston from the caliper and proceed to remove the dust boot and piston seal. Inspect the piston and caliper bore for damage, corrosion, or wear. Clean all parts with brake system cleaner and reassemble with new seals, bolt insulators, and caliper bolts if necessary. Lubricate with brake fluid and install the piston, dust boot, and caliper bolt insulators.
