Before replacing brake calipers, weigh your options first. Exchange offers new or remanufactured calipers. Always rebuild calipers two at a time. To uninstall, set parking brake, chock wheels, loosen lug nuts, raise vehicle and remove the wheel. Remove the bolt of the brake hose and unfasten the hose from the caliper. The outside of the caliper should be cleaned off then remove the piston. Inspect and clean parts. Then put back together the caliper with new components, grease it with fresh oil, and push the piston into it. When required reconnect the hose, bleed brakes if necessary, place the wheel back on, lower the car body, tighten lug nuts, and test brake operation.
