    How can you replace the rubber blade element of the Wiper Blade for the 1990 Mercury Cougar? Posted by Bessel B.

    To replace the element, insert a small screwdriver between the blade and the metal backing strip at one end of the rubber blade element. Press down and in, then twist the screwdriver clockwise to release the element from the retaining claw.
