How to replace the Turn Signal Flasher relay on the Ford Ranger?

Disconnect the negative cable from the battery. The flasher relay is located under the instrument panel to the right of the steering column. Remove the flasher by pulling straight out. Install the new flasher unit, ensuring that the metal contacts align with the slots in the fuse panel, and press the flasher firmly into place.
