Starting from 1995, vehicles put their turn signals and hazard lights under control of a lamp flasher (relay) you'll find underneath the dashboard, close to the steering wheel. When working well, the flasher relay sends out an audible click while active. When one side of your turn signals stops working and the relay fails to make an audible click, the fault may be in the malfunctioning turn signal bulb. Failure in both blinkers can result from a bad turn signal
Fuse, a defective flasher relay, issues with the switch, or wiring disconnections, while a blown turn signal fuse requires checks for wiring problem before replacing the fuse. Detach the battery cable, pull the flasher out from its fuse box or electrical connector, and make sure you're getting the right flasher before installing it either in the fuse box or instrument panel connector.
