A functioning flasher unit will click, and if turn signals don't work on one side and give the clicking noise, or if they blink faster than normal, it could be a bad bulb. If neither of the turn signals blinks then possible problems may be a fused out flasher unit, a defective switch or a loose connection; one should check the fuse block for turn signal fuse and electrical connections for shorts before replacing the fuse. To remove the flasher, it is pulled out of the fuse block, and before inserting the new unit, it should be as that of the original flasher, the procedure of removal being the reverse of implementation.
