How to replace the Flasher Relay unit on the Ford Escape?

This method is only for 2004 and earlier models. After that, there is a Smart Junction Box in the car. The dealer service department will need to diagnose the problem with this. Besides, both turn signals work through one electronic flasher unit installed under the instrument panel. Rapid flashing on one side of the turn signal indicator shows that a bulb has burnt out. When it is necessary to change the flasher, it should be taken out from its mounting bracket first and then disconnected from its electrical connector.
