Loosen the front wheel lug nuts, raise the vehicle, support it securely on jackstands, and remove the front wheel. Remove the rocker panel molding end cap mounting screws and take off the end cap. Remove the fender-to-rocker panel mounting bolts and the fasteners that secure the inner fender splash shield, then take out the splash shield. Open the door and remove the bolt from the end of the fender. Next, remove the front
Bumper cover and then the front fender mounting bolts. Use a putty knife to scrape away the foam sealer to expose the front fender inner bolt inside the fender. Remove the upper fender bolts and lift off the fender, ideally with assistance to prevent damage to surrounding body panels. Reseal the area along the seam at the body and around the front fender inner bolt using Flexible Foam repair or an equivalent product. Installation is the reverse of removal, ensuring to check the alignment of the fender to the hood and front edge of the door before tightening the bolts.
