On the year 2006 through 2009 models, the low beam is the upper bulbs while the high beam is the lower bulbs. In order to gain access to either of the bulbs, in the left
Headlight housing, one has to remove the air filter housing air inlet duct. The right headlight housing can be reached only by pulling off the windshield washer fluid filler tube where is the high beam bulb located and the low beam bulb on those models that have ABS can be found after removing the bulb access cover screw and the access cover which is located on fender splash shield. For the 2010 through 2012 models, the low-beam bulbs are the external bulbs while the high beam bulbs are the internal bulbs. To get to the left high-beam or low-beam bulb in all four-cylinder and 3.0L V6 models, you will have to remove the air filter housing. To remove the right high-beam bulb on four-cylinder, and 3.0L V6 models remove the windshield washer fluid reservoir but do not remove any hoses. On all the models to get to the right low-beam bulb, the steering wheel should be adjusted to the left and the press pins should be removed from the inner fender splash shield. For the right high-beam bulb of 3.5L V6 models, take off the headlight housing. For 2013 and later models, there are the front bumper cover and the headlight housing which should be taken off. For all models, to replace low-beam bulbs, unscrew and remove the rubber panel at the back of the headlight housing, unplug the electrical connector, and to fit the new bulb twist it anti-clockwise into position, but do not touch the bulb glass and align the bulb's locking flange to the headlight housing, where it will lock into place, into the cutouts. For the high-beam bulbs, unscrew the cover, pull out the bulb in an anticlockwise direction to release the bulb clips from the electrical connector, and while installing the new bulb do not touch it with your fingers, connect it to the electrical connector and turn it clockwise until you hear it clicking into place; the process of removal and installation are vice versa.
