How do you remove and install the front fender on Ford Fusion?

Remove the headlight housing. Loosen the front wheel lug nuts, raise the vehicle, support it securely on jackstands, and remove the front wheel. Remove the fasteners that secure the inner fender splash shield and take off the splash shield. Disconnect the electrical connector from the front sidemarker light, remove the bumper cover mounting bracket fasteners, and take out the bumper cover mounting bracket and sidemarker light assembly. Remove the two lower fender bolts. Open the front door and remove the upper rear fender bolt from inside the doorjamb. Take out the front fender mounting nut inside the back part of the front wheel well. Remove the fender upper bolts and the inner rear fender bolt, then lift off the fender, ideally with assistance to prevent damage to surrounding body panels. Installation is the reverse of removal, ensuring the alignment of the fender to the hood and front edge of the door before tightening the bolts.
