To un-bolt the front bumper cover, you need to un-clamp the radiator grille top and then un-fasten any lug nuts of the front wheels After this, you need to lift the car and then put safe stand on it and then take off the front wheels. Remove the electrical connectors from the fogs simply pulling on the connectors, for 2011+ models remove the airbag impact sensors as well. Next, the inner fender splash shields should be unbolted from the bumper cover by the use of the fasteners and finally the lower fasteners of the bumper cover should also be removed. If equipped with, the upper radiator support panel bolts and plastic rivets must be removed to undo it and take it off. Unlock the metallic tabs that connect the upper rear corners of the bumper to the fender by removing the tabs from the corresponding slots that are provided on the front fenders. Before removing the front bumper cover, make a final check with the use of flash light to confirm that the bumper cover has been fully removed from the bolts, all electrical connectors are unplugged and that all wiring harnesses are out of reach before calling for help. For this bumper cover we will retract the taillight housing assemblies, followed by loosening the rear wheel lug bolts, lifting the car and placing it on jackstands to remove the two wheels at the back. To get to the rear bumper cover screws, there are pin-type retainer screws located at the rear part of the wheel well splash shield, which have to be removed and the shields have to be pushed out of the way. Take out the nut on the under side of each upper front corner of the bumper cover, also the pin type fasteners at the under side of the rear bumper cover. In the taillight area, remove the pin type fastener and bolt in each upper corner of the rear bumper cover. Lastly, make a second round with a torch to confirm the bumper cover is properly removed, there is no connection from the electrical connectors, and wire harnesses are moved aside before removing the rear bumper cover with help. Removing it involves using a few tools on the bumper cover to loosen the bolts and lift it off the vehicle; installation is the reverse, although the user may need help to put the bumper cover back into position.
