The turn signal switch of turn signal switch on the steering column and headlight dimmer switch, and the windshield wiper / washer switch. The first step is to lead the cable away from the terminal particularly the negative terminal of the battery. Then, eratively, unbolt and take off the upper and lower of the steering column. Remove the cable connectors on the turn signal switch; there are three of them at the back side in which the first one is easier to remove since there is a release tab that you need to push to get it off. The second connector is located to the right of the first and cannot be pulled out without first depressing a small release tab that is found on the connector using a small screwdriver. The third connector extends and is not observable, and it is positioned immediately beneath the second connector. To remove the turn signal switch from the steering column assembly you need to undo the nut/screw depending up on the model year of the car, push the turn signal switch towards the top and the release tab should come up. When assembling make sure that the rail and groove of the switch fits on the corresponding rail and groove on the backside of the clockspring assembly as it was done to remove the clockspring.
