Disconnect the negative cable from the battery, and if equipped with an airbag, also disconnect the positive cable. For 2011 models, remove the key lock cylinder and, if applicable, the tilt lever handle. Take off the steering column lower cover and shrouds, ensuring to remove both the upper and lower steering column covers on 2011 models. Remove the two screws securing the Turn Signal Switch assembly to the steering column. Use a small screwdriver to release the tangs and pull the electrical connector(s) from the switch. After that, remove the Turn Signal Switch assembly. Installation follows the reverse order of removal, ensuring the horn harness grommet is positioned correctly and checking the steering column and switch for proper operation.
