How do you remove and install the brake light switch on Ford F-150?

To remove the brake light switch on 2004-2008 models, disconnect the electrical connector, remove the pin cover and pin, and slide out the bushing. Remove the switch and pushrod from the brake pedal. To install, add the pushrod, switch, bushing, pin, and cover to the pedal, then connect the electrical connector. For 2009 and later models, disconnect the connector, rotate the switch clockwise 1/8 turn and remove. Reverse steps to reinstall.
