From inside the car, take the cable grommet from its hole in the firewall and pull the cable through. Installation is the reverse of removal with the following additions: Feed the cable through the grommet in the firewall, making sure the grommet fits properly within its hole. Test the latch control cable functions before you put the hood back on its place.
