To remove the Sway Bar Kit, position the front wheels straight ahead, raise the vehicle, and support it securely on jackstands. If the vehicle has Automatic Ride Control (ARC), ensure the air suspension switch is turned off before raising the vehicle to avoid damaging the system components. Detach the Sway Bar Kit from the axle arms for 1994 and earlier models or from the link attached to the lower control arm for 1995 and later models, then remove it from the frame. For installation, follow the reverse of the removal process and tighten the bolts and nuts to the specified torque. For models from 1997 to 2001, if the Sway Bar Kit-to-frame bracket bolts are self-tapping and no longer hold, consult a dealer for a kit with special fasteners to repair the stripped holes.

Move the stabilizer bar ends up into position and connect them to the links. Install the bolt, washer, and nut on each end, and tighten the bolts and nuts to the specified torque.
