How to remove and install Timing Cover in 4.0L pushrod V6 engine on 1999 Ford Ranger?

Due to the fact that the timing cover to oil pan joint needs to be resealed, the engine must be pulled out of the vehicle. First, unbolt the ground connection of the battery and then expunge the engine oil and coolant. Then unbolt the engine then unbolt the crankshaft pulley along with the crankshaft position sensor. Go ahead and take out the water pump, next, unbolt the brackets, studs and the cover bolts but ensure you differentiate it by labeling the difference in length and position. Remove the cover gently in the correct orientation and, if required, use the soft face hammer to break the gasket removal process without destroying the cover. Then, drain out the oil and then take out the oil pan. For installation, recommended for cleaning the parts and entering the inspection, the gasket scraper is used to eliminate the gasket material and solvent to eliminate the oil film. Replace the guide sleeves if they were removed; put the front cover with a new gasket and tighten the bolts starting with a screwdriver. Further, by alternating sides, the cover bolts must be brought in parallel to the required torque, before replacing the crank position sensor, the oil pan, and the crankshaft pulley. Last but not the least, refit the engine and carry out the procedure in reverse with the help of the following steps with the engine on to look for oil and coolant leaks.
