For installation, set the upper insulator on top of the spring, using tape if necessary, place the lower insulator on the lower suspension arm, and install the internal damper in the spring. Place the spring between the suspension arm and the frame, with the pigtail (end of the spring) on the lower suspension arm pointing toward the left side of the vehicle. Raise the lower suspension arm into position, install the pivot bolt and nut, and tighten the nut to the specified torque.

Raise the rear of the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands placed under the frame. Remove the rear wheel and block the front wheels.
