    Q:
What are some common issues with the Fuel Pump in Mercury Capri? Posted by Denzel B.
    A:
Mechanical fuel pumps may have issues delivering fuel, which can be from a faulty fuel pump, clogged carburetor, or leaking fuel lines. To test the pump's output, begin by unplugging the fuel line at the filter inlet. Attach a rubber hose to the line, and crank the engine. If not, repeat the test with remote fuel supply. For electric pumps, a malfunction may cause a loss of fuel flow.
