According to the manufacturer, the high voltages produced by this system can be fatal in the event of a shock. Also, the voltage can remain in the circuit even after the headlight switch has been turned to OFF and the ignition key has been removed.

    Rotate the headlight bulb retaining ring counterclockwise and pull out the bulb socket. To remove the headlight bulb from the headlight housing, turn it counterclockwise and pull it out. On 2011 and later models, remove the headlight bulb by twisting it a small amount counterclockwise. Remove the park/turn bulb and the side marker light in the same manner.

    Remove the two taillight housing retaining screws.To remove the taillight assembly from the vehicle, pull it out straight to the rear to disengage the two locator pins from their corresponding grommets in the rear fender.Disconnect the electrical connectors from the two sockets in the taillight housing and remove the housing.The upper bulb is the brake/taillight/turn signal bulb, and the lower bulb is the back-up light bulb.
