    Where is the Fuel Pump Driver Module located and how to remove it on Ford F-150? Posted by Customer

    The FPDM is installed beneath the car on the crossmember directly ahead of the spare tire mounting location, the spare tire has to be unloaded to get at the bulb. First, make sure that the car is safely lifted from the ground using jack, then supporting it through jackstands. After that, one shall pull the spare tire and pull the electrical connector that is usually connected to FPDM with an inducement of the release tab. Then, there is a procedure of removal of the mounting bolts to enable detachment of the FPDM from the crossmember. Last but not least, installation is contrary to the removal method mentioned above.

    How to access and remove the Fuel Pump Driver Module located behind the right-rear seat back on Ford Taurus? Posted by Customer

    The fuel pump module's speed, output, and pressure are controlled by the FPCM, located behind the right-rear seat back and trim panel. To access the module, remove or fold down the right-rear seat back cushion and pull back the trim panel. Next, disconnect the electrical connector from the FPCM. Then, remove the pin-type retainers or nuts as applicable, and take out the FPCM. Installation follows the reverse order of removal.
