Ford YL5Z-9424-AA Inlet Manifold Assembly

A Torx driver bit is required to remove the manifold attaching bolts/studs.

Disconnect the fuel rails and lines, and cap the lines to prevent entry of dirt.

Disconnect the fuel supply and return lines.

Apply RTV sealant around the coolant ports (the smaller ports at the ends of the heads) and to the front sealing surface. Also apply a bead of sealant to the four corners where the manifold meets the engine. Note: Install the manifold gasket immediately after applying the sealant. If allowed to set up (approximately 15 minutes), the sealant won't work properly.
