    How do you remove the shift knob on the 2014 Ford Taurus? Posted by Customer

    1. Remove the upper bezel of the floor console around the shifter. 2. If equipped with Traction Control System (TCS), disconnect the TCS electrical connector located below the indicator side of the shift lever assembly. 3. Slide the shift knob lower cover down to expose the screws. Remove the two screws in the knob assembly, then remove the knob while pulling out the TCS harness (if equipped).
