    How often should the Door Hinge, Door Latch, Door Lock, Hood Hinge, Hood Latch and Liftgate Hinge be lubricated on Mercury Lynx? Posted by Matei Z.

    Every 3000 miles or thrice a month, the hinges and latch assemblies of the doors, the hood or the hatchback or the liftgate as the case may be must be given just a few drops of light oil or lock lubricant. Also, the door latch strikers should be lubricated by a thin layer of grease and to ensure that the parts are not outlive or worn out. The handle, and the bolts of the door and hatchback or liftgate should be lubricated by the spray and graphite.
