    The engine mounts can be removed if the weight of the engine/transaxle is supported by one of the following methods. Support from underneath using a jack and a suitable piece of wood. Support from above by attaching a hoist to the engine. Use a suitable engine support fixture rented with end pieces engaging in the water channel on each side of the hood opening.
