    Remove the door trim panel and pull away the watershield, ensuring the window glass is fully raised. Disconnect the door latch actuator rod from the latch and support the door handle in the open position. Drill out both rivets that secure the handle to the door and remove the handle. Installation involves positioning the handle in the door and installing the two pop-rivets in reverse order of removal.

    Disconnect the handle link from the handle and lock cylinder. On 2001 and later models, remove the bolt (near the lower rear of the door) securing the front door glass run channel.
