    How is the lower steering shaft U-joint disconnected from the Rack And Pinion steering gear input shaft for the 2010 Ford F-150? Posted by Customer

    To disconnect the lower steering shaft U-joint from the steering gear input shaft. Mark the relationship of the U-joint to the input shaft.Remove the U-joint pinch bolt and slide the U-joint off the input shaft. If it doesn't slide off completely, detach it later.
