    • Q: How to disconnect the negative battery cable and remove the blower motor in a Ford Thunderbird?
A: To disconnect the negative battery cable, squeeze the glove compartment sides to lower the door. Through the opening, unplug the blower motor by pressing the locking tabs and removing the connector. Unscrew the motor from the housing and remove it with the mounting plate, and, if replacing the motor, remove the clip and fan from the shaft and attach to the new motor. Finally, reconnect the battery, test the blower, and reset the glove compartment door.
