How do I remove the airbag module and steering wheel on Ford Taurus?

To remove the airbag module and steering wheel, turn off the ignition and disconnect the battery. For 2007 and earlier models, detach the airbag module by removing the access panel and prying the retaining springs. For 2013 and later models, release the airbag module clips with a screwdriver, disconnect the airbag module electrical connectors, and remove the steering wheel bolt. Use a puller to remove the wheel from the shaft and tape the clock spring to prevent rotation. To install, align the pins on the clock spring with the holes in the steering wheel rotation sensor and tighten the screws.
