Next, disconnect the negative cable from the battery. For 2010 and earlier models, remove the right side wiper arm and blade assembly, then take off the pivot nut from the right side linkage post, allowing the linkage to drop down into the cowl. Remove the wiper linkage access cover, reach through the access opening to unsnap the wiper motor clip, push the clip away from the linkage until it clears the crank pin nib, and then push the clip off the linkage. Remove the wiper linkage from the motor crankpin, disconnect the electrical connector from the motor, and remove the screws securing the motor to take it out.
