Next, remove the clutch fork from the ballstud and withdraw the release bearing from the input shaft together with the help of the clutch fork. For examination, remove grease and dirt on the bearing using a piece of cloth; do not immerse it in any solvent because it is hermetically sealed for use. Swing the outer part of the bearing while applying force to center of it; if the bearing appears to be stiff or if it is producing unpleasant noises, it must be replaced.
