To remove the front bumper cover, first loosen the front wheel lug nuts, raise the vehicle, and support it securely on jackstands before removing the front wheels. Next, take out the lower plastic fasteners from under the bumper cover and the fasteners securing the inner fender splash shields to the bumper cover. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the auxiliary parking lights or front camera and sensors, as well as the camera washer hose, and from the fog lamps if applicable. Disengage the clips securing the upper rear edges of the bumper cover to the fender, then for 2015 and later models, remove the bumper cover bracket bolts through the wheel well. Remove the upper radiator grille panel fasteners, and for 2015 and later models, take out the bumper cover upper mounting bolts covered by the radiator grille panel. With assistance, locate and unclip the bumper cover hooks on each side through the wheel well, then perform a final inspection to ensure the bumper cover is completely detached and all electrical connectors and wiring harnesses are out of the way before removing the front bumper cover. For the rear bumper cover, loosen the rear wheel lug nuts, raise the vehicle, and support it securely on jackstands before removing the rear wheels. Open the rear liftgate and remove the plastic push-pin type fasteners along the top of the rear cover if equipped, then take out the rear cover mounting bolts from the top corners of the liftgate opening. Remove the screws from the rear part of the wheel well splash shield and push the shields aside, then from under the vehicle, remove the rear cover brace-to-body screws. Disconnect the trailer tow connector and parking aid harness connectors if equipped, and disengage the corners of the bumper cover from the body. For 2015 and later models, remove the taillight housing, then perform a final inspection to ensure the bumper cover is completely detached and all electrical connectors and wiring harnesses are out of the way before removing the rear bumper cover. Installation is the reverse of removal, and assistance is recommended when putting the bumper cover back into position.
