How to adjust headlights on 2012 Ford Fusion?

The headlight adjustment screws control the up-and-down movement of the headlights, while left-and-right movement is not adjustable. To adjust the headlights, a blank wall 25 feet in front of the vehicle and a level floor are needed. Masking tape should be positioned on the wall in line with the vehicle centerline and the centerlines of both headlights. The height of the headlight reference marks from the ground should be measured, and a horizontal tape line should be placed on the wall at the same height. It is advisable to park the vehicle only a few inches away for easier tape positioning. Adjustments should be made with the vehicle level, the gas tank half-full, and without any unusually heavy load. With the low beams turned on, the adjusting screw should be turned to position the high intensity zone two inches below the horizontal line. It is recommended to have the headlights adjusted by a dealer service department at the earliest opportunity.
