How to remove and install Crankshaft Pulley and front Crankshaft Seal in V6 engine on 2012 Ford Fusion?

To remove the components following is the procedure,-Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. Jack up front of the vehicle and snug the right front wheel lug nuts; then remove the wheel. Then, remove the fender splash shield then unsnap the drivebelt. It is necessary to use a two-pin spanner for removal of the crankshaft pulley retaining bolt and a three jaw puller for the removal of the crankshaft pulley. Next use a seal puller to remove the seal out of the timing chain cover making sure of the provision and direction for the new seal. Under installation, while fitting the front cover and pulley seal the surface must be free from any flaw which may lead to future problems, If there are then they have to be corrected. Dip the new seal in clean engine oil to grease before fitting it on the timing chain cover in a suitable seal driver with lip facing inside. If a seal driver is not available, it is essential to put the seal into place gently using a large socket and hammer till level with the surface. For 3.0L engines smear RTV sealant around the keyway and inner bore of the pulley, lubricate the outer sealing surface with clean engine oil and place the pulley before four minutes of applying the sealant with the keyway aligned with the crankshaft key. A pulley installation tool must be used to drive the pulley onto the crankshaft and tighten the pulley bolt; a new bolt needs to be used. Lastly, replace the other parts in a backward manner, torque the wheel lug nuts, join the battery terminals and then engage the engine for oil leaks check.
