Remove the negative cable at the battery then remove the radiator. Then remove drivebelts and the crankshaft pulley together with the bolt of the vibration damper. There is a vibration damper on top of it which should be pulled out with the help of a puller. Use seal remover or screwdriver to remove the old seal without scratching the crankshaft or damaging the seal bore on the cover. Subsequently, make sure the surrounding region is clean and coat the lips of the seal with fresh engine oil: the side of the spring should be towards the engine, when inserting the seal. Finally tighten and pound the seal into place using the seal installer or a large socket matched with a hammer so as to force it to sit on the timing chain cover. Install the vibrator damper with the help of a damper installation tool and fix the bolt to the specified torque. reverse the removal procedures Fill the cooling system and start running the engine to make sure there is no leakage.
