    Attach the regulator to the inner door panel using rivets, or with a pair of 1/4-20 x 1-inch bolts with nuts and washers. Metric bolts, nuts, and washers of the equivalent size can be substituted for the 1/4-20 fasteners. Tighten the screws securely.
