    What additional steps are required for Water Pump removal for the 2010 Ford Escape? Posted by Darien G.

    On V6 models, the following additional steps are required. Remove the air filter housing and the water pump drivebelt tensioner.Remove the water pump mounting bolts and clean all gasket and O-ring surfaces on the pump and the housing.Remove the outlet air duct from the air filter housing.Remove the water pump drivebelt and the lower radiator hose from the thermostat housing.
