    How do you remove the Distributor for the 1985 Lincoln Continental? Posted by Verified Customer
    A:
    Start by unplugging the primary lead from the coil and the electrical connector for the module. Then, remove the distributor cap and turn the engine until the rotor is pointing towards the number one spark plug terminal. Make marks on the distributor base and engine block to ensure proper installation. Remove the distributor hold-down bolt and clamp, and carefully pull the distributor straight up.
