Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal, then raise the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands. Next, disconnect the wiring from the terminals on the starter motor solenoid by removing nut A and disconnecting the battery cable from the B+ terminal, followed by removing nut B and disconnecting the starter cable from the S terminal. After that, disconnect the starter ground cable from the lower starter mounting stud, remove the starter motor mounting fasteners, and detach the starter from the engine. Installation is the reverse of removal.
