    Q:
What should be done with the Oil Pump after removing the valve and spring for the 2010 Ford F-150? Posted by Lindner K.
    A:
Remove all metal chips from the bore and the valve, then check them carefully for wear, score marks, and galling. If the bore is worn or damaged, a new timing chain cover will be required. The valve should fit in the bore with no noticeable side play or binding. You can Select Your Vehicle to see complete installation and repair tips.
