To remove the air intake duct, disconnect the Throttle Cable from the throttle lever and the cruise control cable from the cable bracket. To remove it from the accelerator pedal recess, separate the Throttle Cable from the cable bracket. You can detach the Throttle Cable clips from the intake manifold and valve cover and take out the cable through firewall. Reverse removal steps for installation while ensuring proper cable routing. Apply sealant if necessary to prevent water entry. Measure freeplay at the accelerator pedal (3/64 to 1/8-inch) to adjust. Loosen the locknut on the cable bracket and adjust deflection within the specified range.
